Duties
- Safely install a wide range of signs including banners, channel letters, lighted displays, and directional signage using hand tools and power equipment
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately to ensure proper alignment and positioning
- Use ladders, scaffolding, or lifts to access high or hard-to-reach areas with precision and safety in mind
- Remove old or damaged signage carefully without causing damage to property or surroundings
- Troubleshoot and repair existing signs to enhance longevity and appearance
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, or team members to understand specific installation requirements
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout each project
Skills
- Proven experience in sign installation, carpentry, or related trades is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of tools such as drills, screwdrivers, levels, measuring tapes, and safety equipment
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy signs and work at heights comfortably
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision in measurements and alignment
- Ability to read technical drawings or installation instructions clearly
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members or clients effectively
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting equipment and materials
