Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures using cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas by disinfecting and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Handle waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied and areas remain tidy throughout the shift
- Follow established janitorial procedures to ensure consistency and quality in cleaning tasks
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning agents as needed to ensure continuous availability
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including hospital-specific protocols when working in healthcare environments
- Ensuring both front and back garden are clean and tidy
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment use
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained
- Strong communication skills for reporting issues clearly and following instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks over extended periods effectively
