Job Overview
We are seeking two dedicated and energetic Housekeeping/Cleaners to join our hospitality team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that every space meets our high standards of cleanliness and comfort. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
We are looking to recruit 2 people, each working approximately 16 hours per week. Working days and schedules will be negotiated during the recruitment process to accommodate operational needs and successful candidates' availability.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all supplies are stocked and organized
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures and restocking toiletries
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards
- Assist with laundry duties such as washing, folding, and storing linens and towels
- Support team efforts by helping with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred
- Some knowledge of janitorial practices and cleaning techniques
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
