Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver a diverse, engaging Science curriculum tailored to varied learning needs.

Teach Science through 1:1 sessions, small group learning and vocational workshops.

Create personalised learning plans and track student progress using data and student insights.

Collaborate with school leaders and Learning Managers to evaluate teaching quality and implement strategic improvements.

Mentor and coach colleagues, providing targeted CPD to promote high-quality teaching practices.

Implement academic interventions to support students in achieving their full potential.

Uphold all safeguarding, health and safety protocols at all times.
The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has extensive practical experience in designing and developing a Science curriculum.

Has previous experience working within SEN or alternative provision environments (highly desirable).

Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities and a passion for mentoring teaching staff.

Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
