We have a wonderful location on the Grand Union Canal in Warwick and are a very busy pub.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chef to work in our well-established, traditional canalside pub with a loyal local following and strong seasonal trade.
This is a hands-on role for a passionate chef who values not only classic pub food but interesting and worldly cuisines, food trends, fresh ingredients and consistent quality, while bringing creativity and leadership to the kitchen.
The Role
- Responsibility for kitchen operations and standards
- Potential for creating and delivering seasonal menus & specials.
- Working with a small, motivated & dedicated kitchen team
- Managing stock, ordering, GP, and supplier relationships
- Ensuring all food hygiene, health & safety standards are met
About You
- Proven experience as a Chef or junior Chef ready to step up
- Passion for traditional cuisines, modern cuisines and fresh, locally sourced produce
- Strong work ethic and organisational skills
- Ability to manage stock & costs without waste or compromising quality
- Calm, reliable, and professional under pressure
- Food hygiene certification preferred
