We are looking for an enthusiastic Despatch Operator to join our Sutton Bridge team.
At our Production site based in Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire, we are looking for a friendly, team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading fresh produce supplier in the UK. We’re dedicated to using the very best of sustainable farming techniques in our own farming and collaborating with other expert farmers. We grow the finest quality potatoes, root vegetables which we pack ourselves to supply to our customers.
You will join us on a fixed term contract from 1st October 26 to 31st May 27.
The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 16:00pm
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Make sure that all product is despatched to customers in a manner which meets their requirements and the requirements of the unit.
- Liaise, when necessary, with the Sales and Production departments to ensure that product is ready for despatch at the correct times, and in the correct quantities.
- Ensure loads leave with correct paperwork.
- Ensure the despatch department is kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Responsible for H&S performance
- Ensure all efforts are made to achieve continuous production.
- Carry out, as required such other duties as may be necessary to efficiently run the business.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in a similar role is essential with food industry experience desirable.
- Experience of FMCG and food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Friendly and personal with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with good attention to detail.
