Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance tasks
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and complete repairs promptly
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of vehicle systems
- Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively in a repair setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
- Prior experience working as a vehicle technician or in a related automotive repair role is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to accurately document work performed and communicate with team members
- Certification from an accredited automotive or vehicle repair program is a plus but not required

Pay: £120.00-£145.00 per day
