Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-the-spot tyre fitting services for trucks, vans, agricultural and cars at various locations. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are safe, road-ready, and maintained to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, engage directly with customers, and showcase your tyre fitting skills in a fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Working Hours: Mon- Fri 8.30am-5.30pm and Sat 8.30-12.30pm. (some overtime & bonuses are expected )
Duties
- Conduct tyre fitting and replacement services on trucks, vans, and cars at customer sites or designated locations
- Some overtime is expected plus bonuses
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and proper inflation; advise customers on maintenance needs
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove and install tyres efficiently and safely
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks related to tyres, including balancing and valve replacements
- Lift heavy tyres safely using appropriate techniques and equipment to prevent injury
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during each job
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed and addressing any questions or concerns
Skills
- Strong knowledge of vehicle tyres, wheels, and related components
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
- Experience using power tools for tyre removal and installation processes
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks accurately while adhering to safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- The ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of work
