As Floor Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Market Hall. You'll lead the front-of-house team during service, maintain high standards across the venue and make sure customers receive a friendly, efficient and consistent experience.

- Deliver excellent customer service and deal confidently with customer queries or complaints.
- Allocate sections, duties and breaks to team members.
- Make sure the venue is clean, presentable and ready for service at all times.
- Monitor tables, communal areas, toilets and outdoor areas throughout the shift.
- Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned and reset quickly during busy periods.
- Support the bar and wider team during peak trading periods.
- Coordinate with our independent food vendors to help maintain a smooth customer experience across the hall.
- Complete opening and closing procedures when required.
- Carry out venue checks and ensure operational checklists are completed correctly.
- Help maintain health & safety, fire safety, food safety and licensing standards.
- Identify maintenance, cleanliness or safety issues and report or resolve them appropriately.
- Support events, entertainment and private functions taking place within the venue.
- Help train and develop new and existing team members.
- Maintain a positive, professional working environment and set the standard for the wider team.
- Step up and take responsibility when required.
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you'll have previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader or experienced Front of House team member within hospitality.
You'll need to be:
- Confident leading a team during busy services.
- Friendly, approachable and comfortable speaking with customers.
- Organised and able to prioritise when several things are happening at once.
- Proactive – someone who notices what needs doing without always having to be asked.
- Comfortable dealing with customer complaints and resolving problems.
- Reliable and able to take responsibility for your shift.
- Able to remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends.
