We are seeking a dedicated and professional Night Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hospitality experience who enjoy working independently and providing exceptional guest services. The Night Porter will act as the first point of contact for guests arriving or departing during the night and will maintain a secure environment throughout their shift. The Night porter will also assist in setting up meeting and event spaces, serving on the bar until closing and will perform general cleaning duties
Duties
- Welcome and assist guests arriving during the night, ensuring a warm and professional service.
- Conduct regular security checks of the premises to ensure safety and security standards are maintained.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, or emergencies with professionalism and courtesy.
- Monitor CCTV systems and carry out patrols around the hotel to prevent unauthorised access or incidents.
- Handle administrative tasks such as logging incidents, completing security reports, and managing guest accounts if required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area during overnight hours.
- Liaise with emergency services if necessary, following established protocols.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to during the shift.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel services is preferred but not essential.
- Multilingual skills are highly desirable to assist a diverse range of guests.
- Bilingual abilities will be considered an advantage in communicating effectively with international guests.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; additional languages are beneficial.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
- Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and public holidays as required. Pay: £13.00 per hour
