At Bake & Brew Cheltenham we need someone to join our friendly crew! We’re passionate about great coffee, tasty food, and creating a warm, welcoming space for our customers. If you’re a skilled barista with a love for customer service and café life, we’d love to meet you.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced barista who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Alongside making excellent coffee, you’ll also get stuck into the kitchen, preparing our fresh menu items such as:
- Breakfasts, bacon sandwiches, porridge & toast
- Our famous homemade sausage rolls
(Note: This role does not involve baking or cake-making.)
What You’ll Do
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a smile
- Prepare and serve quality espresso-based drinks
- Support your team across all areas of the café
- Assist with light kitchen cooking and food prep
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude every shift
What We’re Looking For
- Barista experience (preferred but not essential)
- Customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
- Reliability and Flexibility – able to work weekends and 6.30am starts during the week
- Comfortable working independently as well as in a team
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine love of hospitality
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and initiative.
- A willingness to learn!
