Part time: 17 hours per week, working Monday and Tuesday 7.30am – 5.00pm
Working pattern: term time only plus 5 INSET days and 5 additional days
FTE Salary £28,806 - £31,796. Actual starting salary £9,663 - £10,666

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and support administrative functions that keep our office running smoothly. Your positive attitude, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism will help create a warm and efficient environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette, and route calls to the right departments or personnel.
- Manage front desk duties including signing in visitors, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently.
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
- Utilize computer skills to update records using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace tools, and QuickBooks when necessary.
- Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure all office signage and materials are current and organized.
Requirements
- Proven office experience or clerical / receptionist experience demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a friendly, team-oriented attitude.
