Evermax Ltd are a nationwide commercial roofing and reactive maintenance contractor delivering reactive works, planned preventative maintenance, leak investigations and refurbishment projects across the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Works Coordinator to support the day to day running of our reactive and planned works division.
This role is ideal for somebody with experience within construction, roofing, facilities management or reactive maintenance who can confidently manage multiple live jobs at once whilst supporting engineers, clients and suppliers.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring approved works are organised efficiently from start to finish. This includes coordinating labour, materials, access equipment, RAMS, plant hire, deliveries, scheduling and client updates.
You will work closely with the Operations Team, Contracts Managers, Engineers and Clients to ensure works are delivered safely, professionally and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating approved works from instruction through to completion
- Organising labour allocation and engineer scheduling
- Booking plant, access equipment and scaffold requirements
- Ordering materials and arranging site deliveries
- Preparing and issuing RAMS and site paperwork
- Liaising with clients regarding access, permits and updates (phone, in person, email)
- Monitoring job progress and communicating with site teams daily
- Managing reactive works and prioritising urgent call outs
- Updating internal systems and trackers accurately
- Assisting with planning and forward scheduling of works
- Ensuring engineers have correct information prior to attendance
- Supporting close out of completed works including paperwork and photographs
- Escalating delays, access issues or operational concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience within construction, roofing, FM or reactive maintenance preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple live jobs simultaneously
- Good understanding of scheduling and logistics
- Competent with Microsoft Office and internal systems
- Ability to work under pressure within a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
- Experience coordinating engineers or subcontractors advantageous
- Full UK driving licence preferred
