Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate fully qualified Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, ensuring their safety and development while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Duties
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
- Support children in developing their social skills and independence.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while demonstrating leadership qualities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting activities to meet children's needs.
- Capability to drive initiatives that support children's learning experiences.
