Job Overview
The Castle Hotel are looking to add a cleaner/housekeeper to our team after a busy start to the season. This is a permanent role predominantly working solo in the mornings.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of ground floor, rooms and bathrooms to a high standard
- Dust, hoover, sweep, mop floors, and sanitise surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for visitors and keep track of any top ups needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate person
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning tools and supplies for efficiency and safety
- Keep on top of laundry rotation
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and organisation
- Desire to create warm and welcoming spaces for visiting guests
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to complete tasks promptly
- Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
