ROTATING SHIFT PATTERN - 6AM-2PM / 2PM-10PM Monday to Friday
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To carry out general duties as requested by the Production Manager within the production area, which may cover the following functions.
- Processing materials to finished goods
- Operating machines and equipment
- Maintaining Company Quality Assurance Standards
- Maintaining Company Health and Safety Standards
MAIN DUTIES
· Pack and palletise bags and cartons to the required speed of the process operation reporting any occurrence which could lead to none compliance to the Company standards.
· Feed hopper with the required batch of raw materials ensuring that all screens and sieves have been checked prior to milling operation.
· Carry out daily checks on machine and product ensuring all production paperwork is completed on time and accurately.
· Sealing finished, weighed product ensuring product safely passes through the metal detector. Metal detection checks, are carried out correctly at specified intervals
· Palletising finished product in a safe and secure manner observing the correct manual handing procedures. Moving all completed pallets into middle warehouse.
· Sieving milled spices using the correct procedures for the product being sieved.
· Monitor product produced to ensure Compliance to the company’s Quality Assurance and
· Health & Safety policies.
· To report to Production Shift Manager any occurrence which may affect the operation of equipment or could lead to none compliance to the Company standards.
· At time when no production work is available to carry out duties as requested by the Production Shift Manager or other authorised member of staff.
Disirable requirment:
- Experience running Fawema production line
- Experience with bagging and end of line packing
- Sieving in food production
- Mixing with blenders in food production
- Knowledge of CCPs such as metal detector or x ray machine
- Level 2 Food safety training
