We are an established building company working on high-quality residential renovations, extensions and refurbishment projects throughout Kent. Due to our growing workload, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled carpenter who is also confident completing a range of general building and finishing work. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently and consistently delivers a high standard of finish.
Main responsibilities:
First-fix and second-fix carpentry
Installing doors, frames, skirting boards and architraves
Stud walls, timber framing and roof-related carpentry
Kitchen fitting and general joinery
Flooring and timber finishes
Plasterboarding and basic making-good
General building, repair and refurbishment work
Reading drawings and working from instructions
Coordinating with other trades and site management
Keeping the workplace clean, safe and organised
The right candidate will:
Have proven experience in carpentry and residential construction
Be confident working independently and as part of a team
Produce accurate work with a high-quality finish
Be reliable, punctual and well organised
Have good problem-solving skills
Communicate professionally with clients and other trades
Have their own hand tools
Hold a full UK driving licence
Have the right to work in the UK
A CSCS card and additional trade skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
