An exciting opportunity has arisen for an office-based Sales Manager to join our busy team. The successful applicant will lead our Sales team, both in the UK and in Europe, and will be responsible for driving the strategic direction on our sales growth. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, and have a proven track record in sales strategy and revenue growth. The role will involve pro-actively growing our UK and export sales across all divisions through direct customer contact with the aim of increasing turnover and expanding our business.
J&A (International) Limited is a dynamic and forward-thinking company based in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. We specialise in garment decoration and printing, and pride ourselves on offering a diverse and comprehensive product range. We currently offer a wide range of garment decoration to include heat-seal transfers and emblems, name badges for corporate wear, stickers and labels for small to medium size businesses, and also have a casual workwear division.
Responsibilities will include:
· Manage and work closely with our current UK and European sales team of 6 personnel, providing them with the support, motivation, strategy and structure to enable them to complete their daily tasks of:
Ø Cross-selling
Ø Direct selling
Ø Cold calling
Ø Visiting customers
Ø Product training
· Grow sales potential of our smaller customers
· Customer visits as necessary in both the UK and Europe.
· Exhibitions
· Grow sales in current markets and introduce new customers to our products
· Develop a system for progress monitoring.
· Pro-active sales growth – considering alternative options to grow sales
· Understanding fluctuations in sales and establishing trends
· Investigate potential new markets and grow sales in these areas
· Working closely with marketing, customer service and customer relations
Any candidate with experience and a proven track record in any of the fields that we operate in would be preferable but not necessary.
