Job Summary
We are seeking 2 compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality, personalized care to individuals in their own homes. In this vital role, you will support clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance their overall well-being. Your energetic approach and caring nature will help create a safe, comfortable environment for those in need of assistance, ensuring they feel valued and respected every day.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain dignity and comfort.
- Support with medication administration, ensuring timely and accurate delivery in accordance with care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements while promoting healthy eating habits.
- Help clients with mobility needs, including light housekeeping, laundry, and light heavy lifting as necessary.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
- Maintain detailed records of care provided, changes in condition, and any incidents or concerns.
- Drive clients safely to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed, adhering to all safety regulations.
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living or home care environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient care practices including dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and senior care..
- Certification or experience in first aid and basic life support is preferred.
- Ability to handle behavior management techniques for clients with cognitive impairments.
- Experience with medication administration and health monitoring is advantageous.
- Valid driving license and clean driving record are preferred for transportation duties.
