Looking for a stable driving role with a growing logistics company?
Vigor Logistics Ltd, part of the VGR Group, is looking for a reliable and professional 3.5T Low Loader Van Driver to join our team based in Swansea, South Wales.
You'll be responsible for delivering kitchen worktops, appliances and cupboards to customers across the South of England.
This is a hands-on driving role, so we're looking for someone who enjoys being out on the road, takes pride in providing a professional service and is comfortable handling larger and heavier products.
The Role
As one of our 3.5T drivers, you'll be responsible for:
- Driving a 3.5T low loader van
- Delivering kitchen worktops, appliances and cupboards
- Completing deliveries throughout the South of England
- Loading and unloading products safely
- Handling larger and heavier items
- Ensuring goods arrive safely and in excellent condition
- Completing vehicle checks before starting your route
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
- Communicating professionally with customers and the transport office
- Representing Vigor Logistics professionally at every delivery
You'll be trusted to look after your vehicle, your load and, most importantly, provide our customers with a reliable and professional delivery service.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, hardworking and comfortable with a physical delivery role.
To be considered, you'll need:
- Valid Category B UK Driving Licence
- No more than 6 endorsement/penalty points
- Previous delivery driving experience
- Confidence driving a 3.5T vehicle
- Ability to safely handle and transport heavy items
- Good knowledge of UK roads
- Strong work ethic and excellent punctuality
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Must be at least 25 years old due to insurance requirements
- Must have suitable space to safely park the van at your home address
Previous experience delivering kitchens, furniture, appliances, building products or other bulky goods would be an advantage.
