Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.00AM-4.30PM, Fri 8.00AM – 3.30PM

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Furniture Sprayer to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality finishes on bespoke joinery, cabinetry, wall panelling, cubicle doors and furniture while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship, safety, and consistency.
Reports To: Spray Shop Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, spray, and finish bespoke furniture and joinery to the highest quality standards.
- Apply a variety of finishing products including: Polyurethane (PU) lacquers, Pre-catalyst lacquers, Waterborne lacquers, Primers, Stains, Patinas, Fire-rated coating systems
- Follow documented finishing procedures to ensure repeatability, consistency, and compliance with certification requirements.
- Carry out quality inspections throughout the finishing process, ensuring all work meets company standards before release.
- Maintain spray equipment and ensure the spray booth and work areas are kept clean and organised.
- Work independently using your own initiative while also contributing effectively as part of a wider production team.
- Comply with all company health and safety procedures, ensuring exceptional housekeeping and safe working practices at all times.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the spray shop.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a furniture or joinery sprayer.
- Experience using PU lacquers, primers, stains, patinas, and other specialist finishing products.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing first-class finishes.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Strong team-working and communication skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety within a spray finishing environment.
Desirable
- Formal spraying or finishing qualifications.
- Experience working with fire-rated finishing systems.
- Experience working within a quality-controlled or certified manufacturing environment.
