Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious Pizza that delight our guests while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of Pizzas according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food safety practices.
- Participate in the development of new recipes and presentation styles to enhance dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- A creative mindset with the ability to innovate menu items while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- A culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
