Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Manage the front of house operations efficiently, including taking orders and processing payments.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being proactive in assisting customers.
