We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Person to join our team.
You will work closely with the Head of Maintenance alongside our other maintenance team members to ensure the hotel is safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly for both guests and staff.
This is a varied role suited to someone proactive, practical, and able to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.)
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues reported by guests or staff
- Assist the Head of Maintenance with planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to complete jobs efficiently
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas
- Ensure all health & safety standards are followed
- Maintain outdoor areas (entrances, grounds, car park etc)
- Report any major faults or repair needs
Requirements
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repairs
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
- Physically able to carry out manual tasks
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Basic understanding of health & safety regulations
- Relevant maintenance qualifications

Full TIme Hours available.
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Must be available to cover weekends when needed.
