About the Role:
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a busy logistics operation in Marchington, near Uttoxeter looking for a reliable and detail-focused Pre Delivery Inspector. This is a hands-on role where accuracy matters, you'll be making sure goods are correct, in good condition, and ready to move through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, defects, and accuracy
- Check deliveries against manifests, delivery notes, and purchase orders
- Count and verify pallet quantities before dispatch
- Record stock and inspection details using paperwork and warehouse systems
- Report any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods promptly
- Prepare, label, and organise stock ready for dispatch
What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and good with numbers
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (scanners, warehouse systems, Excel)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
