We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Technician to join our skilled team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in the automotive industry. You will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience and learning the skills necessary to become a fully qualified automotive technician.
- Assist senior technicians with vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Learn to carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre fitting.
- Develop skills in vehicle fault diagnosis using industry-standard equipment and software.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
- Attend training sessions and complete all required qualifications as part of the apprenticeship programme.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, providing excellent service and support.
- Support the team with general workshop duties as required.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent qualifications).
- A keen interest in automotive technology and a desire to build a career in the industry.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from experienced colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
