Duties
- Perform regular cleaning of nursery rooms, restrooms, and common spaces to ensure they are spotless and sanitized
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain hygiene standards in all areas
- Dispose of waste safely and efficiently, adhering to environmental guidelines
- Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables as needed to keep the nursery well-equipped
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management for quick resolution
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning schedules and tasks completed to ensure accountability
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within childcare or educational settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods

Pay: £12.00-£12.71 per hour
