Job Title: Office Cleaner
Job Summary:
We are a leading innovator in sustainable energy solutions dedicated to environmental responsibility, and are seeking a committed Cleaner to uphold cleanliness and organisation in both office and warehouse environments as we expand our operations.We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to assist and maintain a clean and organised environment primarily and keep our office and warehouse looking clean and tidy.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Cleaner to take on the responsibility of maintaining a hygienic and orderly working environment in our office and warehouse areas. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive and safe workspace for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in office areas, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene by cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, breakrooms, common areas etc.
- Empty trash bins, dispose of waste bags and ensure cleanliness of the area
- Wipe down and clean windows, glass surfaces, and office furniture as needed.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Sweep and mop warehouse floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Dispose of warehouse debris and maintain clear aisles for safe movement.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum experience of 2 years in commercial or janitorial cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to a tidy environment.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move objects as required.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them.
- Flexibility and open approach to work as a team player with some flexibility
- Knowledge of warehouse and cleaning safety practices is preferred.
