Kinross High School is seeking to appoint an exceptional and ambitious Depute Head Teacher who is committed to ensuring every young person achieves their full potential. We are looking for an experienced educational leader with a strong track record of raising attainment and improving outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of how effective use of data can drive school improvement and support learners to achieve success. They will be skilled in gathering, analysing and interpreting a wide range of attainment and achievement information and will use this evidence to identify trends, inform strategic decision-making and target support where it is needed most.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and delivering the school's vision and strategic priorities. They will lead on the development and implementation of robust systems for tracking and monitoring learner progress, ensuring that intervention strategies are timely, evidence-based and impactful. Working closely with staff, learners, parents and partners, they will promote a culture of rigor, aspiration and perseverance in which every young person is known, supported and challenged to succeed.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a proven ability to raise attainment and close gaps in outcomes for learners.
You will have experience of leading improvement initiatives that have delivered measurable impact and will be confident in using data to evaluate performance, identify areas for development and drive sustainable change.
