Part-Time Morning Supervisor / Keyholder
Location: Cavells Cafe Bar, High Street, Sheffield
Hours: Approx. 20 hours per week (Part-Time)
We’re looking for a reliable, confident, and hands-on Morning Supervisor to join our team at Cavells Cafe Bar.
This role is ideal for someone dependable who thrives working independently during morning setups and transitions smoothly into a team environment during busy services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Morning Opens: Opening the venue solo at 9:00 AM (2 days per week), prepping the bar/cafe floor, and getting ready for trade.
- Barista & Bar Service: Crafting quality barista coffees, pulling pints, and serving behind the bar.
- Food & Table Service: Taking customer food orders, ringing them through, and running plates to tables.
- Customer Care: Greeting regulars and new faces with warm, attentive hospitality.
- Floor Support & Holiday Cover: Working alongside the wider team during busier shifts and stepping in to cover team holidays when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Barista & Bar Experience: Confident operating espresso machines, steaming milk, and handling bar service.
- Solo & Team Reliability: Comfortable opening and running the floor solo in the mornings, but equally great collaborating during team shifts.
- Initiative & Trustworthiness: Confident keyholder capable of managing opening checklists and daily routines without supervision.
- Flexibility: Available for morning starts from 9:00 AM and open to taking on extra shifts for holiday cover.
- Great Energy: Punctual, proactive, and genuinely passionate about looking after customers.
Hours & Schedule
- Approximately 20 hours per week.
- Structured around 2 solo opening morning shifts, with remaining hours supporting general venue operations and team service.
- Flexibility required for occasional holiday cover
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
