We’re looking for an experienced Fixer Stonemason to join our team immediately on a prestigious heritage restoration project near Scarborough.
Duration: Approximately 3*-5 weeks* (with the potential for further work).
The role will include:
- Rebuilding sandstone ashlar masonry.
- Installing and tying Cintec anchors into ashlar masonry.
- Reinstating stone window surrounds and other architectural stonework.
- Assisting with and supervising the installation of masonry anchors.
- Working as part of an experienced restoration team to meet a critical programme.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in heritage stone masonry or ashlar fixing.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work to a high standard.
- A good team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to read drawings and work with minimal supervision.
- CSCS card essential.
