Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent Warehouse / Cutting Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, handling materials, and assisting with cutting processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to efficient stock management and production workflows. The position involves manual handling, Overhead crane operation and use of relevant equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods using forklifts and manual handling techniques
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse
- Support the cutting process by preparing materials according to specifications
- Conduct stock replenishment, stocking racks, and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Perform picking of orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Assist with mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance when required
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and optimise workflow
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous; certification is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment while maintaining attention to detail

Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.40pm
Friday 8.00am - 3.40pm
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
