Forklift Driver (Permanent) – APS Produce
(Monday – Friday, 39 hours per week)
An opportunity has arisen for the position of a Forklift Driver at our Isle of Wight site, reporting to the Site Operations Manager.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our busy tomato nursery team. You will be responsible for moving tomatoes, growing materials, pallets and packaging throughout the nursery while supporting daily production activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate forklifts safely and efficiently throughout the nursery sites
· Load and unload deliveries
· Transport tomatoes, growing materials, pallets and packaging
· Carry out daily equipment checks and report defects
· Maintain safe and tidy working areas
· Assist with general nursery duties when required
Requirements
· Valid forklift licence or certification
· Previous forklift driving experience preferred
· Good awareness of health and safety procedures
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
