Line Cook – Italian Kitchen
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Line Cook to join our team in a busy Italian kitchen. The ideal candidate will be confident working across a range of Italian dishes, particularly pizza and pasta, and will be able to maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Italian dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Work confidently on the pizza and pasta sections of the kitchen.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Prepare ingredients efficiently and maintain a clean and organised workstation.
- Work effectively during busy service periods while maintaining speed and quality.
- Ensure food is stored, prepared and cooked safely and correctly.
- Follow all food hygiene, health & safety and kitchen safety procedures.
- Maintain good cleaning and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
- Monitor food quality and report any issues to the kitchen manager or head chef.
- Assist with preparation, stock rotation and general kitchen duties.
- Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and front of house.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a line cook or in a professional kitchen.
- Experience in an Italian restaurant or Italian-style kitchen is preferred.
- Comfortable preparing and cooking pizza and pasta.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual and organised.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy service periods.

Pay: £25,420.00-£39,564.16 per year
