W are looking for reliable, professional self-employed owner drivers to carry out house removals, furniture deliveries, collections, and transport services on behalf of our company.
This is a flexible, self-employed contractor role where work is offered as and when available. There is no obligation for us to provide work, and no obligation for you to accept any work offered.
Responsibilities
Carry out local removals.
Transport furniture and household goods safely.
Load and unload items with care.
Provide excellent customer service.
Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle.
Communicate with customers and our office regarding arrival times and job completion.
Report any damages or issues immediately.
Requirements
Own a suitable van (SWB, LWB or Luton preferred).
Full UK driving licence.
Appropriate vehicle insurance for hire and reward/business use.
Public Liability Insurance (preferred or required).
Smartphone with internet access.
Good physical fitness.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Right to work in the UK.
Contractor Responsibilities
As a self-employed contractor, you will be responsible for:
Your own Income Tax and National Insurance.
Your own vehicle purchase, maintenance and servicing.
Fuel costs.
Parking charges.
Congestion or Clean Air Zone charges.
Insurance.
Mobile phone.
Any tools or equipment required.
Pay: £35.00-£40.00 per hour
