Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and pleasant environment for our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing outstanding guest services. The Porter will assist with various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our establishment, particularly in the hospitality sector.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in kithcen and public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.
- Clean and set restaurant & bar for breakfast service
- Assist with luggage handling and transportation for guests for early morning departures
- Respond promptly to guest requests should they need assistance through the night
- Demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Skills
- Previous hotel experience is beneficial, particularly in guest services or hospitality roles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Previous bar experience is beneficial
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Due to our rural location, public transportation is not available.
Hours will be 11:00pm to 7:00am/ 5 days a week
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
