About the Role
PLS Civil Engineering Ltd is recruiting an experienced CPCS Dumper Driver / Groundworker to join ongoing civil engineering and utilities works in Market Weighton.
You'll be working on live infrastructure projects where safe excavation and working around live services are essential. This is a long-term opportunity with up to two years of continuous work available for the right operator.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating dumpers and other plant safely and efficiently
- General groundworks – trenching, ducting and drainage
- Working around live underground services
- Safe digging in line with EUSR standards
- Locating services using CAT & Genny equipment
- Completing daily plant checks and defect reports
- Working fully in line with site RAMS and H&S procedures
Essential Requirements
- Valid CPCS card (Blue preferred)
- EUSR Safe Dig – Categories 1 & 2
- EUSR CAT & Genny certification
- Proven experience on civil engineering / utilities projects
- Strong understanding of working around buried services
Pay & Benefits
- £200–£210 per shift (CIS), depending on experience
- Ongoing work – up to 2 years for the right operator
