Join a Growing Independent Agency
Cherry Picked Properties is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with at least two years' UK property management experience who is looking to take ownership of a varied portfolio within a supportive and ambitious independent agency.
As part of a close-knit team of eight, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our landlords and tenants while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business. We pride ourselves on collaboration, professionalism, and providing a high standard of customer care.
The Role
This is a full 360° Property Management position, giving you responsibility for managing a portfolio throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
You will be the main point of contact for landlords, tenants, and contractors, ensuring properties are well maintained, compliant with current legislation, and managed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a residential property portfolio from move-in to move-out
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, contractors, and third-party suppliers
- Coordinating maintenance and repair works, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and cost-effectively
- Registering tenancy deposits and handling deposit returns and disputes
- Negotiating rent increases and serving relevant notices where required - Training available
- Managing tenancy-related administration
- Keeping up to date with changes in property legislation and industry best practice
- Supporting colleagues across the business during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained
- Arranging and monitoring statutory compliance requirements, including:
Gas Safety Certificates
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Property licensing requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' UK residential property management experience
- A strong knowledge of property management processes and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to problem solving and customer service
- Experience managing a portfolio independently within a Lettings Agency
- Strong understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- A full UK driving licence for a reliable commmute - minimal driving required for the role.
