Production Operatives & Machine Operators - Chadderton I £13.15 - £13.17 per hour
Sure Start Staff are currently recruiting for Production Operatives & Machine Operators to join a busy and growing manufacturing site in Chadderton.
We have TWO shift patterns available:
Role 1 – Rotating Shifts
£13.15 per hour
38 hours per week
2-shift rotation:
- 6:00am – 2:10pm
- 2:00pm – 10:10pm
Breaks include 1 x 35-minute meal break and 2 x 10-minute breaks per shift.
Roel 2 – 3 ON / 3 OFF
£13.17 per hour
6:00am – 6:10pm
3 days on / 3 days off
Weekends will be included depending on how the shift pattern falls.
Training: The first 4 weeks will be Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern:
- 6:00am – 2:10pm
- 2:00pm – 10:10pm
The Role
You could be working across a variety of production and machine operating duties, including:
- Operating cutting, heat seaming, perforating, slitting and stitching machinery
- Packing, labelling and storing finished goods
- Inputting production data and producing labels using computer systems
- Carrying out quality checks and identifying non-conforming products
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working closely with other departments and shift teams
- Reporting faults, hazards and issues promptly
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Machine operating experience
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable timekeeping and attendance
- Self-motivated and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to follow processes and Health & Safety procedures
