Daily Duties will include:
- Conducting deliveries, exchanges and collections of waste from our range of customers across Surrey and Middlesex.
- Carry out thorough daily inspection checks as a legal requirement, complete defect and damage reports.
- Be fully compliant with the Transport WTD within tachograph legislation requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with Company Health & Safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Follow appropriate reporting processes where necessary in the event of incident and near-miss occurrences.
- Ensure uniform/PPE is worn at all times whilst on duty and is kept in a clean, tidy and serviceable manner in accordance with company and Health & Safety requirements.
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times to external and internal customers.
- Be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles.
- Follow company processes and procedures regarding completion of documentation and paperwork.
- Report for work on time and ensure satisfactory completion of duty hours.
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 06:30 to 16:30 and every other Saturday 07:00 to 12:00 with the flexibility to work over your agreed hours when operationally required.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Familiar with handheld PDA devices. (Training will be given).
