Pre-school Room Leader
Kiddi-creche Private Day Nurseries are seeking an experienced and passionate Pre-school Room Leader to join our team.
We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and ensuring every child receives the best possible start in life. The successful candidate will have experience working with pre-school aged children and the confidence to lead, motivate, and support a team.
About the Role
As Pre-School Room Leader, you will:
- Lead and support the day-to-day running of the pre-school children.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's learning, development and school readiness.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- Support, motivate, and work alongside colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider team.
- Monitor children's progress and contribute to planning that meets their individual needs.
- Ensure the nursery's policies, procedures, and EYFS requirements are consistently met.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with pre-school aged children within an Early Years setting.
- Previous leadership experience.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive approach and the ability to lead by example.
Qualifications
- A level 3 or higher Early Years qualification
- Pediatric First Aid and up to date Safeguarding training are desirable.
- English grade C or above, or equivalent
