We're looking for experienced asbestos removal operatives and a supervisor to join our team. If you hold a full UK driving licence and have hands-on asbestos removal experience, we want to hear from you.
Asbestos Removal Operative
Requirements:
- Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in licensed/non-licensed asbestos removal
- Relevant Training
- Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
- Strong attention to health & safety procedures
Responsibilities:
- Safe removal, handling, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)
- Setting up and operating enclosures, negative pressure units, and decontamination units
- Following RAMS and site-specific safety protocols
- Wearing and maintaining PPE/RPE correctly at all times
- Keeping accurate records of work carried out
Asbestos Removal Supervisor
Requirements:
- Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in asbestos removal, including prior supervisory experience
- Relevant Training
- Strong working knowledge of HSE/CAR 2012 regulations
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring works are carried out safely and compliantly
- Managing and mentoring a team of operatives
- Liaising with site managers, clients, and analysts
- Conducting toolbox talks, inductions, and site safety checks
- Reviewing RAMS and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Reporting progress and any incidents to management
