PAY & SHIFTS
£18.19 per hour PAYE – Rolled-Up Holiday Pay Included
The work consists of:
- Day shifts
- Regular weekly bookings
- Ongoing work through to Christmas
- Minimum 8-hour shifts
- Aiming for approximately 12-hour shifts where possible
- Weekly PAYE pay
- Immediate starts available
- Long-term opportunities
We're particularly interested in drivers looking for regular weekly work who can offer reliability and flexibility throughout the assignment.
THE ROLE
You'll be working from a major distribution operation in Bradford, carrying out a mixture of general haulage and multi-drop deliveries.
Typical duties include:
- Class 2 general haulage
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Deliveries and collections
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
- Completing paperwork and PODs accurately
- Working within Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations
- Providing a professional service at customer sites
- Supporting the transport operation where required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Valid UK Class 2 / Category C licence
- Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- No DR, DD or IN endorsements
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations
- Flexible approach to work
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good communication skills
Reliability is particularly important for this assignment due to the regular weekly bookings available.
