WB Employment are operating as an employment agency for our global client based in Avonmouth, a leading supplier of automotive fluid transfer systems and components to major vehicle manufacturers worldwide.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team.
The Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing equipment to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as required to maintain product quality.
- Carry out routine quality inspections and record production data accurately.
- Identify and report machine faults, defects, or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure production targets and efficiency standards are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement activities within the production area.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives.
Candidate Requirement
- Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to follow work instructions and procedures accurately.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
Desirable:
- Experience within the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic fault-finding skills.
- Forklift licence (if applicable).
Working Hours
Monday to Friday -6am to 1.50pm
x2 20 minute breaks
