Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete multiple deliveries across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling in warehouse environments
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation of all shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every journey
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including stock movement and inventory checks
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving multi-drop deliveries
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles and understanding of road safety protocols
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting or manual handling
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines in a busy environment
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving
