Shift Pattern: Any 5 shifts out of 7 (Shifts run between 06:30 – 18:30)
About the Role
Chefs Bay is recruiting an experienced Sous Chef on behalf of a premier private hospital in Crowborough to cover a 4-week holiday period from 14th September to 11th October.
Working alongside the Head Chef, you will prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for patients and staff while ensuring strict healthcare food safety standards across the kitchen.

Requirements
- Experience: Background at Sous Chef level, ideally within healthcare, private hospitals, or high-volume catering.
- DBS Check: Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check (or hold a Basic DBS and be willing to apply for an Enhanced check at your own cost—guidance provided).
- Food Safety: Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and allergen management.
- Key Traits: Reliable, adaptable, and confident stepping straight into an established kitchen brigade.
