Summary
We are seeking a Storeman to join our team in London. This role is vital in supporting our railway infrastructure projects by managing materials, equipment, and logistical operations efficiently. Join us to contribute to the safe and successful delivery of complex railway projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Manage stock levels and organize warehouse storage.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory using warehouse management systems.
- Support construction teams with logistical needs on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts and handling warehouse materials.
- Mechanical knowledge or background preferred.
- Telehandler
- PTS or LU ICI
- Strong understanding of construction site logistics.
- Ability to work safely in a busy environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting tasks.
