Job Summary
We are looking for an organised and detail focused E-commerce Product Data Assistant to manage and maintain product information on our website.
Product entry will be the main focus of this role. You will upload new products, update existing listings and ensure that descriptions, prices, images and categories are complete and accurate.
The position also includes preparing product images and graphics in Adobe Photoshop, reviewing product data in Excel and providing occasional administrative support within our small team.
Full training will be provided. This is not a coding or web-development position.
Responsibilities
- Upload new products to the HomeSupply website.
- Create, update and maintain accurate product listings.
- Enter product descriptions, specifications, prices, categories and other information.
- Check listings for missing, incorrect or inconsistent data.
- Update online prices and verify pricing accuracy.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organise and review product and pricing information.
- Use sorting, filtering and lookup functions to check and manage data.
- Resize, improve and prepare product photographs using Adobe Photoshop.
- Create simple graphics for products and website content.
- Maintain organised records of product and website updates.
- Help ensure that the online product catalogue remains accurate and up to date.
- Learn how to view and review Google Ads performance data
- Work with colleagues to resolve product-data and pricing queries.
- Occasionally answer telephone calls and emails.
- Assist with customer quotations and other general administrative tasks when required.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will:
- Be confident using Microsoft Excel for data entry, sorting, filtering and lookups.
- Have strong general computer skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking information.
- Be organised and able to manage several tasks effectively.
- Communicate clearly and professionally by telephone and email.
- Have a good standard of written English.
- Be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
- Be willing to learn new systems and processes.
- Have an interest in e-commerce and online product management.
Previous experience in e-commerce, product data, data entry, website administration or Adobe Photoshop would be beneficial but is not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: £25,420.00-£27,000.00 per year
