Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor/Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of bar and restaurant management. Duties
- Supervise the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate food production activities, including cooking and food presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and oversee inventory control to minimise waste.
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist with staff training programmes, including serving techniques and hospitality standards.
- Monitor operational procedures during shifts to optimise efficiency and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, staff schedules, and operational reports.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel service roles is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
- Leadership qualities combined with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
- Knowledge of barista skills or bar management is advantageous.
- Ability to oversee food service operations including serving guests efficiently.

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
