Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician/Solar Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems with a focus on solar energy solutions. Your expertise will help drive sustainable energy initiatives while ensuring safety and compliance with electrical codes. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in residential, commercial, or solar energy setups
- Use hand tools and power tools to accurately complete electrical tasks according to project specifications
- Conduct inspections of electrical components to ensure safety standards and code compliance are met
- Assist in the setup and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including inverters, panels, and related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on existing electrical systems and solar installations to optimize performance
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes during installation and repair activities
- Document work performed, including detailed reports on system status, repairs, and upgrades
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with electrical systems, including installation and troubleshooting of wiring and fixtures
- Hands-on experience with solar energy systems is highly preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters; familiarity with power tools is a plus
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints clearly
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles

Pay: £29,133.98-£48,273.40 per year
